My spirit's trapped where
the core of music blossoms -
violinist's soul.

Enticing reverb,
echoes saturate the hall -
thunderous applause.

Rapt glances vibrate

on the enchanted strings.

Insecure,
watching out
among strangers' eyes
I try to elude,
fear.


No more time for love,
heavy inside my pockets, harsh
memory stones hurt.

Uneasiness,
growing misunderstanding,
no right words
to clarify the truth,
anger.


A bolt from the blue
are your eyes staring at mine,
so unexpected.
