from the poplar

moon teardrops

first day of autumn

beds of leaves and our hearts

only one colour

late August evening

the sky feebly turning

into straw

Dulce fragrancia 

de caricias antiguas -

magnolia en flor.

Lingering scent

of long lost tenderness -

magnolia flower.

quiet summer dawn

smothering you with kisses

again and again -

the warm meld of our breaths

adds new flavours to the day.
