For a few instants
holding each other's hands - a
language without words.

Per pochi istanti
prendendosi le mani -
senza parole.

Caressing breeze - so
many nuances of pink
to brush the sunset.

Sfiora il tramonto
dolce brezza marina
in toni di rosa.

I've recently taken part in a national poetry competition called "La couleur d'un poème" and I am one of the ten finalists of the haiku contest! Furthermore, five of my haiku will appear in the forthcoming anthology of the contest.

Your perfume haloes
merge with the stream of my tears -
through lilac gardens.

My brand new poetry collection has just come out later this month! It is entitled "BLUE MOON" and it contains a variety of poetic forms, such as blank verse poetry in Italian, tanka, elfje and a large number of haiku written in different foreign languages with the relative translation into Italian.
